Hourglass Blocks

Hello folks,

I sure hope that my stack of "wip" are not boring anyone?

Do tell me?

What techniques are you wanting see?

These photos show the stack I'm still working on and a very long table runner where I used the left over blocks from Burkley's quilt.

Working through this stack is actually relaxing. What are you working on?

  1. I do like your hourglass blocks - they are so free spirited! I should be sewing but am having far too much fun poking around the internet!

  2. Thanks Karen.
These hour Glass blocks are the left overs from Cultural Fusion Quilts pattern where Sujata Shah is free spirited in her approach, her book is money well spent.

  3. I'm definitely not a sane quilter myself, but I love seeing all the beautiful things that others make. Having said that I'm about to start the process of using up the off-cuts from the two Quilt-zzzz I just finished. I am SO anxious to get that fabric used up (and so what am I doing? Buying more!! But in my defense, it's just to add to what I already have to finish the project).
